Stainless Steel Rods (Standard Capacity) Available as a standard item in diameters to suit UNF threads 5/16" to 1". Rods are cut to length and can be machined with both left and right-hand threads. Minimum breaking loads are based on the core diameter of the thread. Rods are available up to 12-feet in length. Rod Connectors are used for spans greater than 12-feet.

Sta-Lok® Rod Connectors (Standard Capacity) Required for rod spans greater than 12-feet in length. Rod Connectors are threaded left-hand one end and right-hand other end to ensure that the rod assembly remains secure during tensioning. They are designed to develop the full load of the rods and are available in sizes to suit UNF threads 5/16" to 1".

Sta-Lok® Tension Forks (Standard Capacity) Our most commonly used end fitting. Available in left and right-hand UNF threads 5/16" to 1". Each fork comes with a conical nut (CN) and double headed clevis pin. The combination of a left-hand Tension Fork on one end of a rod assembly with a right-hand Tension Fork on the other end provides the most symmetrical design and most economical method of adjusting and tensioning rod rigging systems. Sta-Lok® Fixed Fork Ends (Standard Capacity) Available with only right-hand UNF threads 5/16" to 1". Designed for assemblies that have a fixed span length or assemblies that have a turnbuckle for adjustment and tensioning. We also carry a variety of turnbuckles for use with Fixed Fork End rod assemblies. Turnbuckle styles include chrome plated open body forged bronze, slotted tubular body stainless steel and closed tubular body stainless steel. Our sales representatives can assist with assembly design and product recommendations. Fixed Fork Ends are non-stock items and are only available by special order.

Our Most Attractive, Economical And Versatile Assembly Style. Standard Tension Rod Assemblies with a left-hand Tension Fork on one end and a right-hand Tension Fork on the other offer easy adjustment and tensioning without the need of bulky in-line turnbuckles. Simply spin the rod to adjust length. Flats are machined onto each rod so that wrenches can grip without scratching the finish. Assemblies are manufactured to your exact lengths with the Tension Forks set in the mid-adjustment position allowing maximum open and close adjustment without any exposed threads. See chart below for +/- adjustment for each rod size. Standard Tension Fork Assemblies are manufactured from standard capacity type 316 stainless steel with a satin finish and are available in 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" & 1" diameters. Each assembly includes a rod, left and right-hand Tension Fork end fittings with Conical Nuts and Double Headed Clevis Pins and Rod Connectors (if needed). Rod Connectors are used for all assemblies over 12-feet long. Assemblies are shipped assembled with Tef-Gel anti-seize on the threads. Measuring Assembly Lengths Assemblies are measured from center pin to center pin with the Tension Forks set in the mid-adjustment position. The chart indicates the available plus/minus adjustment range for each rod size. Assemblies are designed so that no threads will ever be exposed if adjustment is kept within the noted ranges.

A Few Items To Complete Your Rod Project 
Sta-Lok® Isolation Washers & SleevesSta-Lok® also offers a selection of Isolation Washers & Sleeves. These parts are used to minimize direct contact of dissimilar metals thereby reducing the possibility of electrolysis when attaching Tension Forks and Fixed Fork Ends to structural members, eyelets or eyebolts. Isolation Washers are made from nylon and Isolation Sleeves are made from glass filled nylon for extra high compression strength and durability. Washers and Sleeves are non-stock items and are only available by special order.
Sta-Lok® Conical Nuts Conical Nuts are included with each Tension Fork, but they also may be ordered as individual replacement items. Nuts are made from type 316 stainless steel with a satin finish, and they can be ordered with a left-hand or right-hand thread. Sta-Lok® Double Headed Clevis Pin Double Headed Pins are included with all Tension Forks and Fixed Fork Ends, but they may also be ordered as individual replacement items.
